Helicopter Twirls Uncontrollably into Palm Groves at Popular Southern California Coast
A helicopter soaring over a well-attended California beach unexpectedly began spiraling out of control, eventually losing altitude and plunging into a row of palm groves as spectators watched.
Recordings uploaded on social media show the chopper starting to spin over the beach then falling towards the perimeter of the coast, where it ends up lodged amidst palm trees and a steps adjacent to the Pacific Coast highway.

Local firefighters stated five people were rushed to the hospital involving a pair who were in the aircraft and were “extracted safely from the crash site” following the incident on the weekend.
Three persons on the road were hurt. Details on their wounds were not immediately available.
